Pegah Noori, age 19, knows what's popular this summer. The Brandy Melville store manager had several tips for those looking to switch up their style in the heat.
1. A high-waisted skirt paired with a fitted crop tee is not meant to show off the whole midriff area, Noori said, but instead worn so it "links up to the shirt."
2. Maxi skirts with a slit up one side also pair well with a variety of cropped shirts.
3. Year-round cardigans are "particular good" for this season, Noori said.
4. Colors and prints brand new to the Westport store are another hit, Noori said. The store "usually (has) black and white," she said, so the new baby blue and pink items, as well as fresh floral patterns, have brought color for the summer.
5. Dresses, particularly the double-strap style, are a season favorite.
