Five Things, July 10: Ray and Jay Children's Concert

Here are five things to know about Westport for Wednesday, July 10:

1. The weather. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms -- some capable of producing heavy rain -- on Wednesday. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies with temperatures reaching a high near 84. 

2. RTM Ordinance Committee. The committee will meet to discuss a proposed anti-blight ordinance at 10:30 a.m. in Town Hall. Click here for more information.

3. Bayberry Lane Bridge to close. The bridge over Aspetuck River will close for two to four weeks for emergency repairs starting Wednesday.  

4. Jay and Ray Music for Everybody. This concert for children is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion. 

5. Technology and Invention lecture. Learn about Technology and Invention in 19th-century Decorative Arts at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk. The talk starts at 11 a.m.
