Here are five things to know about Westport for Thursday, July 18:

1. The weather. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and showers Thursday -- otherwise, expect another scorcher. The National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies with temperatures reaching a high near 94, and heat index values as high as 102.
