Five Things, July 3: Westport P.A.L. Fireworks

Here are five things to know about Westport for Wednesday, July 3:

1. The weather. There is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms Wednesdays, with otherwise cloudy skies. Temperatures are forecast to reach a high near 86.

2. Lobster at Rizzuto's. Looking for a shellfish dinner? Try Rizzuto's this holiday weekend -- the restaurant's "Lobster Spectacular" menu will be served Wednesday through Sunday.

3. Fireworks. The Westport P.A.L. fireworks will be held Wednesday after dark (around 9 p.m.), weather-pending. Details here.

4. Chess Club at the Library. All levels welcome, for kids in kindergarten through 12th grade. Come to the McManus Room from 4 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
