Float Theme Announced For 2025 Westport Memorial Day Parade

Information from the Town of Westport:

WESTPORT, CT — The Town has announced that the theme for the 2025 Memorial Day Parade float contest will be “Remember and Honor.”

There will be certificates awarded in the following categories: Best Development of Theme, Best Youth Organization Float, Most Creative, Best Community Organization, Most Colorful, and the Best Overall Float.

On Memorial Day (Monday, May 26, 2025), the Parade will begin at 9:00 am on Riverside Avenue. The parade route travels north on Riverside Avenue, turns right onto Post Road East, turns left onto Myrtle Avenue, past Town Hall, then turns left onto Main Street, ending at Parker Harding Plaza. Services are held on Veterans Green immediately after the Parade.
