Gas Line Break Partially closes Road In Westport: Police
The break was discovered Friday morning, according to authorities.
WESTPORT, CT — Riverside Avenue in Westport, between Sylvan Road South and Treadwell Avenue, is temporarily closed Friday morning due to a gas line break, according to Westport police.
"Emergency crews are on scene, and repair work is underway," officials wrote on X. "Please avoid the area and use alternate routes."
When authorities will reopen the road has not been disclosed.
