Previously listed for $3.599 million, the property will sell without reserve on September 30 in cooperation with Jeff Dyment of William Raveis Real Estate.
“157 Easton Road is a private enclave and year-round entertainer’s paradise, the ideal home for an outdoor gala or intimate dinner party, conveniently located within an hour’s commute to New York City,” stated Dyment. “This waterfront home has history and style. “I fell in love with this house 20 years ago because of its build quality and multi-seasonal, multi-generational capabilities,” added Roger Marriott, who is selling the home with his wife, Jan. “Summers here welcome fly fishing in the river, swimming and boating in the lake, and tennis. Winters are all about fireplaces, cozy nooks, and the indoor pool. When we bought the property, our sons were in their early twenties. Two great weddings later, with receptions here by the waterfalls, we now have four wonderful grandchildren who in turn have enjoyed fishing, playing tennis, swimming, catching frogs in the goldfish ponds, and driving around in the golf cart. We will miss this property dearly, and wish the new owners equally enjoyable memories.”
