Harbor Watch To Host 14th Annual 'Cocktails & Clams' Fundraiser In May
Harbor Watch is a water quality research program operated by Earthplace.

WESTPORT, CT — Harbor Watch, a water quality research program operated by Earthplace, will host its 14th annual Cocktails & Clams fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 31 at Copps Island Oysters on Norwalk Harbor.
Tickets are available for $200 per person. The event will feature a raw bar with oysters and clams, canapés, beverages, and live music at the waterfront venue.
Proceeds from the event will support Harbor Watch’s science education programs, which focus on environmental research and hands-on learning opportunities for local students. Organizers say the need for funding is particularly urgent this year due to reductions in federal support.

“Harbor Watch has a long-standing commitment to cultivating the next generation of environmental leaders through our distinctive educational programs,” said Nikki Spiller, Director of Harbor Watch. “We bring students into the outdoors, using rivers and harbors as our classroom, and provide opportunities to work in a state-certified laboratory.”
The organization says its programs aim to prepare students for future studies and careers in environmental science by providing practical skills and experience.
