House Cleaner Accused Of Stealing Jewelry From Westport Homes: Police
The thefts were reported in June, according to Westport police.

WESTPORT, CT — A 28-year-old Bridgeport woman was arrested on a warrant this week, charging her with multiple larceny counts, after Westport police said she stole jewelry from Westport homes that she had been cleaning.
Jasmin Poblano surrendered to police on Wednesday and was charged with three counts of third-degree larceny. She was initially held in lieu of bail of $25,000, but during her arraignment on Wednesday, her bail was eliminated, and she was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
According to Westport police, the department had received three separate complaints in June of jewelry having been stolen from homes.

"Through investigation, it was revealed that all three of these victims employed the same cleaning service," wrote Lt. Anthony Prezioso in a statement. "An employee of that cleaning service, identified as Jasmine Poblano, was found to be actively pawning several items of jewelry. Through investigation, these items were determined to have been stolen from the individual homes of the three victims."
When interviewed by police, "Poblano confessed to taking jewelry from several local homes," Prezioso said.
