Injuries Reported In 5-Vehicle Rollover Crash In Westport: Fire Officials

The Wednesday morning temporarily shut down a road in Westport, according to authorities.

WESTPORT, CT — Three people were injured Wednesday morning in a rollover crash in Westport that damaged five vehicles, according to fire officials.

The crash occurred at about 7:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Riverside Avenue near Westport Auto Craft. When firefighters arrived, they saw a Nissan on its side. Click here to view photos.

Three occupants, including one child, were transported by Westport EMS to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation, according to fire officials.

Riverside Avenue was closed in both directions in the area of the crash for an extended period Wednesday morning, while emergency crews operated on-scene.
