Kindergarten Registration For 2025-26 Underway In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 is now underway! All families that are registered prior to Friday, March 7th will be invited to attend a school-based informational meeting about Kindergarten.
If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2025, we encourage you to register them as soon as possible. Early registration helps us plan ahead and ensures a smooth start to your child's educational journey.

How to Register
Registering your child as soon as possible, allows the District to optimally plan for your new kindergartener. All registration information is located on the district website, via the “Kindergarten Registration” link under the PARENTS tab. It is also available on the district website via Quicklinks.
Kindergarten Information Session
Parents and/or caregivers of registered children will be invited to attend a school-based informational meeting about Kindergarten on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10:00-11:00. At this time, you will have an opportunity to hear more details about Kindergarten from kindergarten teachers and other staff members. This event is for parents and/caregivers only.

Kindergarten Orientation
In May, an orientation session will occur at your child’s elementary school for both you and your child. A school specific invitation will be sent to all registered kindergarten families. If you are unsure about the elementary school your child should attend, please go to our school locator.
