Superintendent Announces Last Day Of Public School In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — The last day of classes for the 2024-25 school year in Westport Public Schools will June 13, Superintendent of Schools Thomas Scarice announced Friday.

At a Thursday night meeting, the Board of Education changed the last day from June 16 to June 13, which will be an early dismissal day. June 16 will remain a staff day, Scarice said.

Staples High School graduation is scheduled for June 11, with a rain date of June 12.

"We hope this adjustment helps facilitate your summer planning," Scarice said.
