Letter: Wexler Fits the Bill for Probate Judge

When Lisa Wexler told me that she was running for Westport/Weston Probate Court Judge, I immediately volunteered to work on her campaign.  It did not matter to me who else was running.  There is no better candidate.  Lisa fits the bill!

I have known Lisa for 20 years.  I admire her strength of character.  She is an intelligent, fair, reasonable, honest, thoughtful, caring, responsible person who embraces whatever she does with enthusiasm.  Moreover, she is an independent thinker who does not crumble under political pressure.  All of which are necessary traits in a Probate Court Judge.  The fact that she has experience handling wills, probate, trusts and estates at her law firm based in Westport is icing on the cake.

If elected, Lisa would be a breath of fresh air in a judicial system that is all too often rife with complaints of cronyism, unnecessarily prolonged hearings, attorneys gouging estates with excessive legal fees, and crooked conservators.  She would not put up with such nonsense. 

For the good of this community, please join me in voting for Lisa Wexler as Probate Court Judge on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
