Norwalk Cleaning Lady Steals from Westport Residence

charged Margarita Flores-Garcia, age 38, of Fairfield Avenue, Norwalk, Jan. 4 with third-degree larceny (theft from building) and sixth-degree larceny (theft from building). The accused was employed at a home as a cleaning woman and through an investigation, it was determined that she had stolen the homeowner’s laptop computer valued at $1,200 and a VISA gift card valued at $100. Both items were recovered. Flores-Garcia posted a $1,000 bond and is due in court Jan. 17.
