Obituary: Doris Gray, 76, Of Westport

Doris Gray, 76, of Westport, passed away on February 5, 2023. Born on December 9, 1946 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Assel) Ivanko.

Doris graduated Basic High School in 1965. After high school, she worked as a switchboard operator at Ann’s Bakery in Bridgeport. Later she would work at Remington for many years and went on to work as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Grzyb in Westport until she retired in 2014.
Doris is survived by her sister, Christine Schede, husband Fred Gray, nieces Beth Gilbert (Kathy) and Lynn (Jim) Hasak and Nephews Jim (Chris) and John (Susan) Ivanko and dear friend Patti. Doris was predeceased by her brother, Jack (Rita) Ivanko; and her sister, Barbara (John) Gilbert and her brother-in-law, Paul Schede.

A service will be held a t a later date. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT.
