After 20 years at 190 Main Street, Optical Shop of Westport has resettled at 420 Post Road West.
Lack of parking spaces at the Main Street location spurred the move, owner Margharet Hollander said Thursday.
"It was hard to make the move, but
the customers are thrilled," she said. The shop moved to its new location June 1.
Besides "abundant parking" at the Post Road West space, the complex offers more space -- so the Optical Shop can offer more inventory and "do fun stuff with the decoration," Hollander said.
She added that the businesses in the complex -- including Westport Pilates, Artistic Image Salon, and Groove -- are owned by women, which appealed to Hollander as a business owner.
Check out the new space during Optical Shop's business hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
