Police: Man Found with $30K Worth of Drugs in His Car
A police officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana, then a police dog found the illegal substance, according to reports.

A 49-year-old man who’s vehicle was stopped on Post Road East on Thursday was found to have THC — the active ingredient in marijuana — in two mason jars, Westport police said, according to reports.
Ceslo F. Valle of Bridgeport was stopped near the Fairfield town line. The officer who stopped the vehicle and talked with him smelled a strong odor of marijuana, WestportNow reported. A police K-9 dog went to the scene and found the two mason jars, which contained 400 grams of a liquid called “DAB” or “honey oil,” which contains a high concentration of THC, WNTH-TV reported.
The street value of the liquid is $30,000, according to both reports, which cited police statements.

Valle was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. His bond was set at $2,500 and, if he meets bond, he is scheduled to appear Monday, April 13 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
