Police Seize Illegal Marijuana Products From Westport Smoke Shop
A sales associate at the smoke shop was also arrested Tuesday, according to authorities.
WESTPORT, CT — Westport police on Tuesday raided the Savvy Smoker, a smoke shop at 940 Post Road East, and seized multiple illegal marijuana products, and arrested a sale associate in the store, the department announced.
Members of the department's Detective Bureau, in addition to members of the state's Drug Control Division, executed the search warrant as part of an investigation into non-licensed cannabis sales and complaints of sales to minors.
"The investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated," said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana in a statement.

As a result of the raid, the following items were seized by authorities:
- Pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes
- Canisters of THC flower
- THC resin products
- THC vape cartridges
- THC edible products
Arrested was Mohemed Zeine Hedimy, 24, of Brooklyn, New York, who was charged with illegal sale/manufacture of cannabis.

Hedimy was released after posting a $2,500 bond, and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Court on March 28.
