Protective Vest Donated To Westport Police K-9 Officer

WESTPORT, CT — Brute, the Westport Police Department's newest K-9 officer, is the recipient of a new bullet-resistant, Kevlar protective vest, donated by the nonprofit organization, Responder Wellness Inc.

The group is a civic-minded, volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that prides itself "in providing equipment and wellness services to First Responders," according to department officials.
