Three construction workers were sent to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the collapse.

Scaffolding collapsed Thursday morning at a construction project at Greens Farms Academy, sending three workers to the hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Westport News.

The scaffolding, about 25 feet high and 100 feet across, was put up as part of a project to construct a new performing arts center and four global studies classes, the newspaper reported. The project is expected to be completed by the fall.

Four workers were checked at the scene by an ambulance crew, and three were taken to Norwalk Hospital.
