"It was reported that the vehicle’s operator was wanted for charges by Stamford as well as other agencies," Westport Police Lt. Anthony Prezioso wrote in a statement. "Shortly after the broadcast, this same vehicle was spotted by a Westport officer traveling southbound on Wilton Road near the intersection with Newtown Turnpike. Officers attempted to signal it to stop, however the operator disregarded that signal, driving recklessly to avoid them while continuing south on to the Merritt Parkway southbound.
