WESTPORT, CT — A 34-year-old Stamford man was arrested on a warrant this month by Westport police in connection with the theft of irrigation parts from outside the Bank of America branch at 126 Post Road East over the summer, according to authorities.
Johnathan Williamson was arrested on Nov. 14 while at Stamford Superior Court where he was appearing on unrelated offenses. Westport police charged him with the following:

- Sixth-degree larceny
Westport police began investigating the case in late July when the department received a complaint from the bank that the Westport branch and other Bank of America branches had been vandalized by the same person who "breaks and steals parts of the exterior irrigation system."
