Caitlin Messina, 26, of Bethel, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Nov. 17 at approximately 1:26 a.m.
According to police, Messina was observed traveling on Post Road West in Westport without a front registration plate and a defective rear marker plate lamp. Officers learned she had an active arrest warrant for failing to report to court in March 2012.
Messina was released on $100 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Court on Nov. 26.
