Updated Lifeguard Schedule Announced For Westport's Burying Hill Beach

WESTPORT, CT — Lifeguards will be on duty at Burying Hill Beach from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday, Aug. 17, according to the Westport Parks and Recreation Department.

Effective Monday, Aug. 18 through Monday, Sept. 1, no lifeguards will be on duty at Burying Hill Beach, but the beach will remain open. Visitors to the beach are advised to "use caution and swim at your own risk."

Compo Beach lifeguards will be on their regular schedule through Sept. 1, and beach emblems are required for parking through Sept. 30.
