Weston/Westport Hebrew After School Program To Host New Year Launch

WESTPORT, CT — Weston/Westport Hebrew after School Program will open its doors with a Rosh Hashanah New Year’s Blast Off program and open house on Tuesday September 12 from 4:15 – 5:45 PM. At their location at the Weston Senior Center at 9 School Road. Freida Hecht is the director of the program.

The Hebrew program is accepting registration for its new fall semester which begins on September 12, 2023. Parents and children are welcome to enjoy the Rosh Hashanah Discovery program and to meet the teaching staff and tour the classrooms.

The Hebrew after School program meets on Tuesday afternoons and features the very popular Aleph Champ Hebrew reading and writing program for first through seventh graders. A special “First Taste of Torah” program for kindergarten age children is also offered.

The after school program prepares students for Bar and Bat Mitzvah and includes fun, hands on activities, art and a thematic curriculum that impart the joy of Judaism.
