Westport Announces Tree Seedling Give-Away

The following announcement is from the Westport Tree Warden:

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Tree Board will celebrate Arbor Day with a Tree Seedling Give-Away on Friday, April 28 from 3-5 pm at the Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue. There will be a table set up near the ball fields at the rear of the Town Hall.

The seedlings will come with planting instructions for school-age children and residents of Westport on a first-come, first-serve basis. The tree seedling give-away has been made possible through the generous donation of Eversource Energy in recognition of National Arbor Day.
