The National Weather service has issued a ”Blizzard Warning” for much of Connecticut, including Westport, from 1 p.m. Monday to midnight Tuesday/Wednesday.

  • Tonight: Snow with widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 20. Wind chill values between 5 and 10. Blustery, with a north wind 21 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
  • Tuesday: Snow with widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 24. Wind chill values between 5 and 10. Blustery, with a north wind 22 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.
  • Tuesday Night: Light snow before 1am, then a chance of light snow between 1am and 4am. Low around 15. Wind chill values between zero and 5. Northwest wind 13 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
