Westport Café Signs Up For Subscription-Based Coffee Service

WESTPORT, CT — A Westport café has partnered with a new coffee subscription app to offer three drinks each week for a monthly fee.

Through the app CoffeesUp, users can pay $8 a month to redeem three coffees each week — a total of 12 per month — at The Granola Bar, located at 275 Post Road E, Westport.

The offer includes specialty, barista-made coffees like cappuccinos and lattes, officials said. The drinks must be redeemed on separate days, and they can be picked up at any participating coffee shop (The Granola Bar's locations in Fairfield and Stamford are also participating).

If you're not fully sold yet, the app is currently offering a 14-day free trial. Users can sign up after downloading it from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

CoffeesUp was founded in January 2022 with the goal of leveling the playing field for independent and small chain cafés while giving consumers a way to drink high-quality coffee at a lower price, officials said.

The app launched first in New York City before expanding to coffee shops in New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and more.
