Westport Democratic Committee Hosts “Bring on the Blue” Fall Fundraiser

The fundraiser honoring Connecticut's delegation will be held at at Sugar and Olives restaurant.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Democratic Town Committee (DTC) today announced its Fall Fundraiser, “Bring on the Blue.” The event will honor Senators Richard Bluementhal and Chris Murphy and Representatives Jim Himes and Elizabeth Etsy for their efforts on behalf of Gun Control Violence and Democratic causes.

“Bring on the Blue” will feature live music from The Boxcar Band and a special pop-up art exhibit, showcasing the works of many local artists. The event is this Thursday, 7-9 PM at Sugar and Olives Restaurant, 21 Lois Street in Norwalk.

Melissa Kane, Chair of the DTC will lead the evening’s program, which will also include members of the CT delegation. She notes that the event “will be a wonderful opportunity for Westport Democrats to express our thanks for our incredible representatives. Their tireless efforts on gun control action and their dedication to the citizens of our state has been nothing short of an inspiration.”

“ Bring on the Blue” will raise critical funds for the DTC to ensure that Westport Democrats can continue active support for Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign as well as the many local candidates up for re-election this November and beyond.
