Westport PD: Fairfield Woman Tries to Obtain Pills With Fake Prescription

Tracy Carbone, 49, of 117 Pease Avenue, Fairfield, was charged April 10 with second-degree forgery and criminal attempt at possession of controlled substance.

Fairfield police had stopped Carbone on a motor vehicle stop and it was determined that had an outstanding arrest warrant for her. The warrant stems from an incident in November 2010 where she attempted to purchase Oxycodone pills with a fake prescription at , police said.

She was transported to Westport Police Department where she posted $5,000 bond and was released. She is due in court April 20.
