Westport Police Arrest Two Bridgeport Men for Larceny

Westport police reports: Dec. 12-14.

Westport police responded Tuesday to a report of two suspicious men in CVS who had just stolen an unknown amount of baby formula and left in a vehicle headed eastbound on Post Road East. Officers located the vehicle with the two men in the Stop and Shop parking lot and the baby formula was located in plain view in the back seat. Both parties were taken into custody. A total of 13 cans of baby formula were seized with a value of approximately $342.00. 

Gregory White, 33 and Anthony White, 29, both of 56 Dayton Road,  Bridgeport, were charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Gregory was also charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates and insurance coverage fails minimum requirements. 

Both parties were released for court Dec. 23 after posting $5,000 bonds.
