Westport Republicans Seek Candidates For November Election
The party is looking for candidates interested in running for local office.
WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Republican Town Committee is looking for candidates to run for local office this fall.
In an email to constituents over the weekend, the party said that it was "seeking candidates for First & Second Selectman, Board of Education, Board of Finance, the Planning & Zoning Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Board of Assessment Appeals."
Earlier this month, Republican First Selectwoman Jen Tooker announced her candidacy for Governor, and said that she would not seek re-election as Westport's top official.
