Westport Resident's TV Pilot Premieres At SOHO International Film Fest

Wellness Inc, a television pilot about the hijinks of the clients and staff at a so-called luxury spa, will have its Northeast premiere at the 2022 SOHO International Film Festival, which runs October 6th-13th in Manhattan. Written and directed by Kylie Hitchcock, Wellness Inc is produced by Gladiolus Productions, a female-run company co-founded by Hitchcock and Westport resident Robyn Babina (who co-stars in the series). The company's credits include the award-winning short Moral Compass and the feature-length film, The Dog Walker (both available on Amazon Prime). The latter, a psychological thriller written and directed by Hitchcock, stars Babina as a journalist haunted by past events.

Babina is also the founder of Westport-based Shluffy Studios. The company's freshman outing, the short film Perception (which Babina wrote and co-stars in), was recently filmed in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties and is currently in post production.
