Westport Schools Superintendent Receives Contract Extension And Raise: Report
Thomas Scarice has been Westport's Superintendent of Schools since 2020.
WESTPORT, CT — Thomas Scarice, Westport's schools superintendent since 2020, has received a contract extension to June 30, 2028, and a 4 percent raise in salary, the Connecticut Post reported.
The Board of Education approved the extension and raise on Monday, praising Scarice for continuing "to do an excellent job leading [the] school district." His new annual salary will reportedly be $334,528.
Scarice came to Westport after spending eight years as superintendent for Madison Public Schools.
