Westport Taxes Due This Month

WESTPORT, CT — Payment of the first installment for the first quarter of property taxes in Westport is due this month, according to Tax Collector Christine Alison.

Real estate taxes, personal property taxes, motor vehicle, supplemental motor vehicle, sanitary sewer use, and assessment charges are due July 1, 2025, and taxpayers have until Aug. 1, 2025, to pay taxes without penalty. Accounts will be subject to an 18 percent (1.5 percent/month) penalty charge if paid late. The minimum interest charge is $2.00.

Real estate taxes, personal property taxes, motor vehicle, supplemental motor vehicle, sanitary sewer use, and assessment bills may be paid by credit card, debit card, or direct withdrawal from a checking account on-line at www.westportct.gov. Convenience fees apply.

Tax bills are currently available online as of Tuesday, July 1.

In-person payments may be made at the Tax Collector’s Office, Room 109 in Town Hall (110 Myrtle Avenue). Office hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
