Westport's Cold Weather Protocol In Effect Sunday To Friday
Gov. Ned Lamont has activated the state's Severe Cold Weather Protocol.

News release from the Town of Westport:
WESTPORT, CT — Westport officials are urging residents to take precautions as Governor Ned Lamont activates the Severe Cold Weather Protocol from Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM, through Friday, January 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM, in response to extreme cold across Connecticut.
Warming Centers in WestportResidents in need of a warm space can visit the following locations:
- Westport Center for Senior Activities (21 Imperial Ave): Tues-Fri, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Westport Library (20 Jesup Rd): Tues-Thurs, 9 AM–9 PM; Fri, 9 AM–6 PM; Sat, 9 AM–5PM; Sun, 1 PM–5 PM
- Westport Museum for History and Culture (25 Avery Place): Tues-Sun, 11 AM–5 PM
- Westport/Weston Family YMCA (14 Alan Raymond Lane): Mon-Fri, 5:30 AM–9 PM, Sat-Sun 7 AM-6 PM
- MoCA Westport (19 Newtown Turnpike): Thurs, 12–8 PM; Fri-Sun, 12–4 PM
