Westport's Staples High School Ranked #1 In Boys Lacrosse: GameTimeCT
A come-from-behind victory over Darien over the weekend helped the Wreckers capture the top spot.
WESTPORT, CT — A victory over former #1 Darien over the weekend helped the undefeated Staples High School boys lacrosse team move into the #1 spot this week in GameTimeCT latest top 10 poll.
The Wreckers, which were ranked #2 last week, beat the Blue Wave 13-11, in thrilling come-from-behind fashion. Darien dropped from #1 to #3, and Fairfield Prep slid into the #2 spot.
Staples is 6-0 on the season, and has games against #5 Wilton on Thursday, and Bishop Guertin in New Hampshire on Saturday.
