Women Schedule Meeting In Westport For Future Political Candidates

WESTPORT, CT — More than 50 women either frustrated or inspired by the results of last week's election are learning how to run for office themselves Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Westport. The Campaign School at Yale's The Basics course helps women and their allies from all parties get ready for the next election cycle.

The Campaign School at Yale's The Basics class will teach women of all parties what they need to know for the next election cycle. And no, it is not too soon to get started. Here are the details:

WHAT: “TSC Yale: The Basics,” a 1-day training in political campaigning for women and allies. TCSYale's mission is to help more women of all parties get elected.

WHERE: In Westport; the location will be disclosed to people who register

COST: $100; $25 for Fairfield County residents, $5 for students and those with low incomes
