WWE's Vince McMahon Seeks Special Court Program After Westport Crash: Report
No injuries were reported in the July crash involving the 79-year-old co-founder and former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment.
WESTPORT, CT — Vince McMahon, co-founder and former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, applied this week for a pretrial probationary program associated with the charges in connection with a July crash in Westport, the Connecticut Post reported.
No injuries were reported in the three-vehicle crash, which occurred on the Merritt Parkway northbound near exit 41 on July 24.
McMahon, the only operator cited by state police in connection with the crash, was issued a misdemeanor summons on charges of reckless driving and following too closely, resulting in an accident.

If he is granted the accelerated rehabilitation program, the charges against McMahon could be dropped if he stays out of trouble for a court-ordered period of time.
The billionaire mogul has resided in Connecticut for years, and the WWE's headquarters is located in Stamford.
