• Firefighters put out structure fire in Rocky Hill after finding frozen hydrant (courant.com) — Wethersfield firefighters were part of Task Force 51 called in to cover Rocky Hill while crews battled a Sunday morning commercial building fire on Laurel Road, where a frozen hydrant briefly complicated efforts. Firefighters forced entry, tapped alternate hydrants, knocked down the blaze quickly, and reported no injuries, though a section of Dividend Road was temporarily closed during the response.
