7 of America's Unhealthiest Meals Can Be Purchased in Connecticut

Connecticut is regarded as one of the healthier states in the country. However, like all places, you can purchase some very unhealthy food in the state. According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest's 2017 Xtreme Eating awards, most of America's unhealthiest meals can be purchased at restaurants in-state.

The CSPI gave "awards" for eight dishes and one chain restaurant for various categories of unhealthiness. Seven of those dishes can be purchased in Connecticut. According to Uno Pizzeria & Grill's website, there are no more locations in the state. However, the eatery's "ridiculously awesome, insanely large chocolate cake" was also an award recipient.
