Daytime Residenial Break-In on Olmstead Hill
A house was broken into around noontime on Monday, May 16.

Police responded to a residential break-in yesterday afternoon, May 16, on Olmstead Hill Road. A black sedan was spotted leaving a residence’s driveway by the homeowner as the owner was returning home, police said. The sedan sped by her without stopping.
This resident, identified only as a female, noticed that one of the windows to her home had been forced open when she reached her property. Upon entering the master bedroom, the resident noticed that her belongings had been rummaged through, according to the police report.
Police said that some jewelry may have been taken. An inventory is being conducted by the homeowner to find out specifically what has been stolen.
The resident identified the male as Caucasian, and the black sedan as resembling a Lexus although the exact car model was not identified. Police are investigating the matter.
