Fourth Annual Tools for School Collection Program Underway
The following is a press release sent on behalf of Tools for School.

As this school year comes to an end, Wilton families are already thinking about the next school year by collecting new and gently used backpacks and school supplies to give to children who don’t have the things they need to successfully complete their school work.
For the past four years, Tools for School, an organization founded by two Wilton families, has collected and distributed supplies to over 500 children in Fairfield County. The goal of Tools for School is to provide school supplies to needy children in our community so they are prepared and confident on their first day of school. The staff of Norwalk based Family and Children’s Agency shared some thank you notes from the children who received school supplies last year.
One in particular reflects the pride gained in finally owning a backpack and read, “Thank you for the things you gave me in the beginning of the school year. I got to pick out my “own” bag which was of course my favorite color purple.”
