Have 'A Taste of Wilton' This Monday

On Monday evening, June 20th, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce invites you to gather your favorite foodies for Wilton’s annual food and wine event, A Taste of Wilton. The outdoor affair, sponsored by Fairfield County Bank, offers attendees the opportunity to sample epicurean hors d’oeuvres and refreshments from over twenty vendors. Spend the evening celebrating the culinary and beverage offerings of Wilton and surrounding towns, while meeting local chefs, farmers, sommeliers, and others who contribute to our diverse food culture.

Held along the riverfront at Cannon Grange on Rte. 7 and Cannon Road, a delectable array of cuisine will be available from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Gather to nosh with friends, meet new people who share a passion for food, toast local vendors, and experience an affordable evening sampling the best of Wilton restaurants, caterers, farmers and merchants.

The lineup of purveyors showcasing their specialties this year includes Ancona’s Market, Ancona's Wines & Liquors of Wilton, Bistro du Soleil, Café Cogolulu, Crowley Cheese, Elmer's All the Best Wines, Fish Tales Seafood Co., Little Pub, Luca Italian Ristorante, Mamacat’s Q. Tea, Marianne Wilson Catering, Marly's Bar and Bistro, Pinocchio Pizza, Rancho Alegre, Scoop's, Simply Delicious Catering, Stop & Shop, Ten China Bistro, Thali Ridgefield Regional Cuisine of India, Village Market and Vintage Fine Wines.

“We’re delighted to provide the venue that promotes Wilton’s finest in the food and wine business, while giving the community access to taste their signature offerings,” said event co-chair Melissa Mednick, SVP of The Wilton Bank.

“We anticipate this year to be our best ever, given the large array of menu items submitted by participating vendors, the tremendous ticket sales to date, and the benefit of having Fairfield County Bank as the event’s Title Sponsor," said Mednick.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and can be purchased at Fairfield County Bank, the Wilton Bank, the Wilton Family YMCA, the Wilton Library, Open House Gifts and the Wilton Chamber of Commerce. Special appreciation is extended to the event’s Platinum sponsor, Events Party & Tent Rentals, and to the Gold Sponsor, Wilton Stop & Shop.
