Man Who Crashed Into Wilton Eatery Was Intoxicated: Police
The crash forced two Danbury Road eateries to close for two weeks.

WILTON, CT — The 20-year-old Orange man who crashed his car into the Naked Greens in Wilton has been charged with driving under the influence, according to Wilton Police. Both Naked Greens and Reiki Sushi and Asian Bistro have since, re-opened, but the damage forced the businesses to close for two weeks.
On March 25, Prete's car allegedly left Rte. 7 and crashed into the building causing significant damage to Naked Greens, according to the eatery. The Asian Bistro also suffered damage to its electrical system. To sign up for Wilton breaking news alerts and more, click here.
Police they found Prete appearing disoriented and confused, and told police he thought he was near Amity High School in Woodbridge and was transported to Norwalk Hospital. Police say he had a blood alcohol content of .18, nine times the legal limit for someone under the age of 21 (.02) and over twice the legal limit for someone of legal drinking age (.08).

Prete was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence under the age of 21, failure to drive in proper lane and possession of alcohol by a minor in public. He is due in court on May 17.
