Missing License Plate Leads to Disorderly Conduct Arrest: Police

A Bridgeport woman was arrested by Wilton police after a traffic stop.

Wilton, CT — A 29-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and failure to appear on Monday after being stopped by Wilton police for failing to display a front license plate on her vehicle, police said.

Angel Thompson, 29, of Bridgeport, was stopped by police on Danbury Road when police saw she was missing her front license plate. Police said she originally gave them her sister's name but then admitted she had an outstanding warrant in Bridgeport for disorderly conduct.

Police said they arrested Thompson and took her into custody. She was given a bond of $10,000.
