Police Chief Thomas Conlan also recognized the sacrifices made by law enforcement families, thanking Cisewski’s mother, Sheila, and his girlfriend, Jessica. Conlan noted that police work often requires time away from loved ones and presents personal challenges beyond the job itself.

Conlan highlighted Cisewski’s professional background, which includes a degree in criminal justice from Western Connecticut State University and graduating second in his class at the police academy.
