Jeremy Cole, 31, of 135 Deforest Rd in Wilton was charged with DUI, Evading and Improper Passing on Oct. 20, 2013 at 12:50a.m. on Deforest Lane. According to Wilton Police, the incident took place near the border of Wilton and New Canaan. A New Canaan officer observed the activity and located the vehicle, a 2008 Honda Ridgeline, which Cole had driven back into his own driveway. The driver indicated he had passed a vehicle on a curve, lost control and struck a tree on Deforest Lane in Wilton. According to Wilton Police, Cole refused to submit to a breath test. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Court on Oct. 31, 2013.
