WILTON, CT — Police were dispatched to the area of Deforest Road on a complaint of a loud party at around 2:40 a.m. on Feb. 1.

First responders were unsure from which house the noise was coming. Officers were later alerted that an underage drinking party was taking place at 47 Deforest Road, and found a large quantity of empty containers of alcoholic beverages scattered throughout the yard, according to their report.

Following an investigation, police say they learned that Tara Thompson, 49, allowed the minors to be on her property and to hold a party. Once Thompson learned that juveniles had brought their own alcohol to the party, she did not take any steps to take the alcoholic beverages away from them, according to police.
