Wilton Police Department Welcomes New Officer
The Wilton Police Department has officially welcomed its newest member, Officer Robert Klein.

This afternoon the Wilton Police Department officially welcomed its newest member, Officer Robert Klein. Officer Klein joins the Wilton Police family after a 25 year career serving the neighboring community of Weston as a member of the Weston Police Department. Former co- workers and supervisors spoke very highly of Officer Klein’s hard work and dedication to the community of Weston throughout his many years of service, and his interest in continuing to serve in the Town of Wilton clearly demonstrates his commitment to public safety. Also, the presence of so many retired and current Law Enforcement officers from surrounding departments, who came to support Officer Klein today, as he starts his new career with the Wilton Police Department, is a testament to his character.

Chief Conlan was pleased to welcome Officer Klein to the Wilton Police Department, noting how Officer Klein’s years of experience will be a great asset to our community.
First Selectman Toni Boucher praised Officer Klein for his commitment to serving the community, at a time when Police work presents substantial challenges. Words of gratitude for their support were directed at Officer Klein’s family members in attendance, to include his wife Amanda, his daughter, mother, brother, and several other relatives.
